can't install PHP on Laravel herd for Windows fix.

If you installed Laravel Herd for Windows on your computer but are unable to install the various PHP versions on your dashboard follow this quick guide to fix it, I am considering that you have already installed Laravel Herd.

  1. Install PHP in any folder ( if you don’t know how to install PHP on Windows, google can be of help ).
  2. Copy the files to this location C:\Users\hk.config\herd\bin
  3. Rename the folder. for example; in my case php8.3…. to php83
  4. Launch Laravel herd, go to the PHP tab and you’ll be able to install and update PHP versions. Working on a solution for NodeJS.

Thanks a lot. This is a quick clarification in case anyone is wondering as I was. at STEP 2 the location is "C:\Users\YourUsername\.config\herd\bin"
