php 8.1 on High Sierra
I have old computer (without option to upgrade system) that i want take to my holidays for "emergency situations" instead of taking my whole new stuff. It is possible to install php 8.1 on High Sierra (to use with brew/Valet) or any other way? Currently i'm getting errors during installation (failed at installing jpeg-xl). I don't know if i can dig more to find solution or it is just a waste of time.

You can install php 8.1 with MacPorts, it works for me.

There is the other option of installing Ubuntu on it also.
