hi guys, i am new to laravel. i using xampp to test my laravel, do we able to deploy laravel application like ordinary project instead of using php artisan serve command? whenever i access the laravel application as ordinary project (acess the xampp server, http://localhost:8080/myproject/), it show me the parent directory could anyone ,give me a guide? thanks in advanced

There is a "public" directory within the laravel directory. This is where your web server should point to as its root application directory.
Ideally, you can set your "DocumentRoot" for your apache config to point to the public directory: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/mod/core.html#documentroot
