PHP Practioner

Hello,

I've been currently studying this course and it's been going great, but I'm stuck on Episode 11 when MySQL is introduced. I wonder if there a course that is more recent, but also I operate under a Windows system.

Is there any courses that utilise a Window system, perhaps more up to date?

What exactly is the problem. Just install mysql on Windows there are tons of tutorials. I just use the zip version, but have changed to Maria DB.

Just follow instructions carefully.

Or use Xampp. I usually prefer to install Nginx (zip package), PHP (zip package).

there is only the system setup different, it shouldn't bring any big issue for you to learn and use php or Laravel. Furthermore, you can install and use Linux in Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) or even use docker...

for mysql, there is nothing much differences also for learning the concept in old or recent course unless your are more to learn the new features of new version of mysql.

Thank you both!

I'll take a look at the course you suggested!

I currently use Xampp, and learning the PHP so far has been smooth sailing! I think learning mySQL might help me best.
