I have a social media app built in Laravel 5.2 and for a while we just pushed posts that were new in our newsletter to our users. But now, we have too many posts to keep up with so we are looking to only send those that are relevant.
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'd love to chat with someone who has some experience with AI recommendation engines. Sort of how like twitter recommends tweets to you based on what you liked or retweeted in the past. We're doing kind of by hand right now but it's getting to the point where we can't handle it.
I might suggest you approach upgrading your laravel 5.2 app to newest version before approaching this task.
As you are on an ancient version of laravel, that also suggests that you are on an old version of php 7, so are missing both performance and security benefits.
Long Term Support for laravel 5.2 finished several years ago.
