Aws s3 or Vimeo Hosting which do I go with?

Hi! Due to lack of finance I was thinking of hosting my videos personally, on my server but after some research i have decided to go for a video hosting company?

I am hosting the video for a service similar to laracast where users can subscribe to learn graphics design or motion design and we would not want the user to be able to access the video directly

Please help me, do I go for vimeo or do I go for Amazon s3

Laracasts uses Vimeo and since it has a lot of traction, I would guess there is a good reason for it.

I’m not an expert, but with S3, you would likely have to host different sizes of videos, depending on the quality and allow user to switch between different video quality versions. Seems like a lot of work.
