Laravel Cashier 10 release date?

Does anyone know what's the Cashier v10 release date? I know they are implementing SCA because of EU and Stripe changes [which sucks] but here there is only a task left to be released:

The milestone is only 30% complete at the moment: https://github.com/laravel/cashier/milestone/1 - it would be nice to know if integrating Cashier 9 into a project will not involve too much of a code change to use Cashier 10 when it comes out though?

New projects starting at the moment have a tricky decision to make with regards to using V9 or holding out for V10.
