I've seen Jeff use a shortcut in several of his videos where he is in one app, say Sublime, and then he opens a search bar and begins typing an app name, like "Chr" for Chrome, selects Chrome, and then the open (not launch a new instance) Chrome instance comes into view.
Can someone tell me how to do this on OS High Sierra, and/or the app Jeff might be using to do this? I'm looking for the shortcut to the finder/search where you can begin typing an app name, see it in autocomplete, select it, and if there is an already open instance of the app, it will come into focus (top of open windows stack).
Also, if Jeff has a post on his shortcuts and apps he uses for productivity, I would love to see it. He really has a great setup for moving between apps quickly via shortcuts to work fast and efficiently.
Thanks!
