Why forge , now get more expensive!?
I thought before it was $10 or even $5 .
Now it is $19 !? Right ?
Could i pay for one month or for only deploy the site ome or days ?
But what if i did some updates of my laravel project , afterwards, and pushing to github .. is it will be important to still bay or managing is so easy ??
As a newbie , Please tolerate my questions??
By the way is there any free domain with no ads ??
Does github give anything like that ??
I assume from what you've written that Forge costs $20 per month? Is that right?
When I look at all the time and headache Forge could save me, were I a professional PHP developer managing web sites for paying clients, I would pay that $20 with a big happy smile on my face and never even think twice about it.
Heck, I might even do it next time I have to update the two whole web sites I do manage.
Now if you're confusing Forge and Github, you should do some research on both. They're different things.
Some clarity as to the pricing changes and what we could expect from a 100% bump in the subscription charge would be very helpful. I've been subscribed since the service cost 10$ a month and I seriously dislike the fact that I get random price surges without even knowing why.
I'm happy to pay more since I'm getting a whole lot done with the service, just a little communication is what's needed.
@MohamadSleimanHaidar Are you actually paying more per month? I'm grandfathered and seen no increase since I started few years ago. I'm aware that may change and assume I will receive communications but not going to worry until then.
@Gorby Yes I am. I noticed that it's happening after missing payments the first few days that the service is trying to charge me ( I put money in the credit card each month and it sometimes takes the bank a few days longer to process the credit deposited due to holidays, etc) in which case I've had to resubscribe and the only options I had were ones with the higher prices.
Happened when price increased to 15$ and now to 20$.
