Do I have to update laravel version with spark 4.0?
Hi I am running laravel v5.3 with spark v3.0. I want to upgrade spark to the latest version 4.0 however it doesn't say in the upgrade guide that I have to upgrade to laravel 5.4 first.
It this necessary to have laravel 5.4 or will spark 4.0 work with laravel 5.3 as well?

There are some changes made specific to L5.4. Webpack is a biggie, along with fixes for some of the newer L5.4 middleware used. I don't know for a fact since I haven't tried on 5.3, but I'd bet Spark 4.0.5 is pretty tightly married to L5.4.
