I got a very well paying job thanks to Laravel and Laracasts. Honestly, I couldn't have done it without them.

Happy new year!
What was some of your highlights during 2016? What did you learn, make or achieve?
As OP I will start..
- Finally moved to homestead/forge. Not going back to xampp and shared hosting ever.
- Found out there are API/CRUD generators which is an awesome boilerplate. I use the one from infyOm.
- After 5 years, finally been granted admin rights to set up IIS for laravel in my daytime job :D

I found out that Laravel exists. It boosted my understanding of frameworks like hell!
