In this particular case, I've migrated to a new DO server (MySQL 5.7.15 et PHP 7.0.12). I've made a back up of my files and imported in the new server.

Upgrade packages : PHP and MySQL

I am using LForge with DigitalOcean (DO) server under Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS (GNU/Linux 3.13.0-52-generic x86_64). Really handy !
Recently, I've tried to upgrade packages (MySQL 5.5.52 to 5.7.15 & PHP 5.6. to 7.0.12) but ended up with white pages on the website (with 200 status). Commands/Cron/php artisan are working.
Couldn't find quickly where the problem came from so had to restore a snapshot of the server's previous state. Maybe configuration issues ?
In order to check if the code was supported by these new versions, I took a new DO server 16.04.1 LTS (GNU/Linux 4.4.0-38-generic x86_64) with MySQL 5.7.15 & PHP 7.0.12. Guess what happened ? It worked perfectly.
Any tutorials or advices for upgrading properly, please ? Note we use L5.1.26 in all the servers.
