Storing and retrieving data on Amazon, struggling understanding the cost

Hi all,

I have never stored any data on Amazon. I am trying to work out the pricing of storing 100 gigs of data on their server and have the possibility to retrieve this data anytime.

It looks like you are have to pay uploading the data(storing) but also have to pay for requesting it? Can you delete the data as well(or edit it) ?

So from what I understand, you save the file path in MySQL and when trying to retrieve the path, you do it like if it was hosted on your own server.
