Digital Ocean and MySQL Clusters -> Laravel... How to connect (SSL-CA)

Digital Ocean Cluster MySQL and Laravel:

Has anyone had any success in connecting Laravel .env to the new Digital Ocean MySQL instances. They require a ssl CA file to connect, and my luck is challenged with trying to get my app to connect to the DB.

It all stems from needing to link to the CA file that they provide as a CRT.
