PHPUnit test with XAMPP localhost instead of laravel artisan serve

Your base URL is probably 'http://localhost', not 'http://localhost/TestApp/public'.

In the browser, what happens if you go to http://localhost/TestApp/public?

What if you set baseUrl in your TestCase class with the protected property?

protected $baseUrl = 'http://localhost/TestApp/public';

@zachleigh it doesnot work, though i noted that having the baseUrl to http://localhost:8000 works without artisan serve

I did no changes in the phpunit.xml file and I'm running my project with php artisan serve.
