Yes, all spark upgrades are always free. Just read through the upgrade guide when the next version is released.

I buyed Laravel Spark(unlimited) recently, do I get the update for spark 6.0 for free ?
So this's my question. I asked the support, but don't get any answers. I saw that Spark 6.0 is coming with a Laravel 6.0 update, should I ask for a repayment?

So I just paid for a single site license, will I have to pay again when 6.0 comes out?

From the license page on the official site:
Licenses are valid for an entire major release "series". In other words, a license entitles you to all updates for Spark 5.x. Each license may only be used on a single site unless it is a multi-site license.
Not sure if it is forced or if they use the "honor system", as I've only purchased a v5 license and spark is still on v5...

"Probably will be something like a 50% discount for existing license holders that purchased over 1 year ago…. Within 1 year would be free upgrade I think"

Very disappointed with this as well. It makes no sense to me why they would choose to set it up this way.
