How do you combine CSS Modules with SASS exactly?

I've been using CSS Modules for my projects but every time I look at SASS I think I should adopt it. While trying to decide between the two, I've come across some comments saying you can combine both. But how, exactly? Can you point me out to any resources and examples of that, please?
