What other resources do you use to learn PHP and Laravel?

Laracasts is awesome but often I feel like some lessons go from intermediate to very high level stuff where I struggle to follow along and I would love to fill in the gaps in between. There are of course many resources on google, but I would love to hear your favorites.

Any recommendations on your favorite PHP/Laravel tutorials or blogs would be highly appreciated.

Let's keep it short and simple :)

Laracasts Great for all expertise levels, variety of content, focuses on teaching you different parts of frameworks, and new techniques; brilliant forum. 99% of my time here at Laracasts is browsing and contributing to the forum. Jeff has a natural, smooth and relaxing voice, which actually makes you become more focused haha. Given my expertise in Laravel, I often just watch the videos to see if I can improve my current code with better solutions. Jeff always seems to be at the top of his game with new additions to the frameworks

Codecourse Great for all expertise levels, variety of content and frameworks, however, each series often focuses on building a real-life replica product such as an ecommerce store, or a Twitter clone. Rather than explaining the code, Alex get's straight to the point, and that is, to create a finished product. I like that type of teaching, it shows you how to put real applications together, but you also gain insights into how the applications work in real-life.

Laravel News Browse that for new packages / announcements. It's my #1 go-to source.

Occasional Twitter browsing Search up #laravel and see what you find :)

I don't usually follow individuals. I'll take a quick look every now and then, but I find everyone just promotes things now. I also don't read books etc.

That's my list, there are plenty others out there, but the above are very reputable.
