Suggestion don't use a free shared host, you will not be able to setup laravel correctly.
But there are plenty of shared and also look at digital ocean droplets.

what is the best Free OR cheap hosting service available to deploy laravel portfolio projects?
Hi,
Can anybody share their knowledge regarding the FREE or cheapest shared hosting plans ? on which i can deploy my portfolio website based on the laravel 9.
Would be thankful.

You can run a pretty powerful site on a $5 DigitalOcean droplet so if you like system admin, that might be the way to go.
If not, Bref now works really well and most sites shouldn't come anywhere close to using enough resources to use more than AWS's free tier.

@khanareeb No, there is no domain in the droplet plan. You're on your own for all of that.
And if you're not super familiar with AWS, I would not recommend using even their free tier because the only thing stopping your code from running way too much and costing you hundreds (or thousands) of dollars is you, and that's probably not a risk you want to take.

@khanareeb AWS actually has tutorials and even videos describing their plans including the free plan.
You should go to their site and check it all out.
But I agree with @nexxai if you don't setup things correctly and especially security the free plan could cost more than a droplet. Digital ocean also has many helpful articles and tutorials.
