You can download it from https://nodejs.org/en/ and install it. Then you will be able to run those commands from the terminal, and maybe from xampp shell (I've never used xampp so I can not guarantee).

npm install && npm run dev command
Hi, sorry for my ignorance, but I am unable to run the "npm install && npm run dev" command directly from the xampp shell.
The error it issues me is that it doesn't recognize this "npm" command. How can I do? Wrong syntax?
