You know what? You're right.

If the facade is being successfully bound in the app container (and it is) then the problem has to be my code in the service provider that works differently when called from the controllers or the command. I thought it was so minor it couldn't be related, but it seems i was wrong. I'd rather it be me than a bug in the framework, but i regret dragging you down with me. :)

I should have remembered my 99% rule. Every time you think it's laravel to blame, 99% of the time, it's actually you. :) Though i reserve the right to hate framework upgrades until that situation changes significantly. :)

I think i see my oversight, but i need to fix it to be sure, and i think the fix is going to require some substantial feature redesign, unfortunately. Sorry for wasting your time, by not posting more in the beginning. Do you have a place to donate some beverage money as a small token of my appreciation for all your help?

Thanks!
