It's recommended to use a development setup, but of course if you want to do it live that's your choice.
Edit: Why not view some free laracasts videos then decide.

laravel running on live host
good day everyone so I was thinking , instead of installing laravel on my local host can't I simply install it on my live hosting and start building it from there instead local host , won't there be any problems ?
