laravel-nestedset tutorial ?

Hi ! Can someone please give us a tutorial or an open source example on how to use laravel-nestedset.

I searched the web and I couldn't find anything helpful, the documentation isn't that clear and there is nothing about how to retrieve the data in the views too, so can someone please give us a tutorial about this very helpful library, or if there are any alternatives . Thanks :)
