Laravel 9 - Widgets

Hey there!

I was watching this https://laracasts.com/series/building-laracasts/episodes/2 and I was wondering if there is a package you guys usually use or recommend.

Or maybe I should just follow the tutorial and build my own? Obviously, I watched it... but I wonder if it would be better to use whats in the tutorial or perhaps get some package.

The packages I found seem to be dead.

However, I do like the idea, and its something I was actually thinking about just wasn't sure how to go about it, except usage of components and passing the data there, but then I went for the composer and etc... so widgets seems nice.

Do you think I should just use the code that's provided in the tutorial or perhaps there's a up to date package, maybe the old packages are fine to use as well?

@aleahy Oh wow. i thought Livewire was something else as well. I'm coding in Vanilla Laravel and vanilla JavaScript.

What about something else? Since that seems like it has a lot of functionality I won't need now.

I'll try that out in a fresh project though.
