Is it easy to migrate from big Nodejs api to Laravel ?

I have a big Nodejs api hosted on vercel and I am thinking of rebuilding it with Laravel the Api is for E-commerce. What I want is high security and performance and a free host, does it easy to make what I need ?

I'd focus on the WHY.

Only you know the complexity of the API. You should be able to evaluate the amount of work yourself. If you can't do that, you shouldn't even think about migrating.

Laravel doesn't offer any better security than Node. It's also primarily a web app framework. Performance of a high-traffic API would likely be much worse than on Node, unless you use something like Octane.

Laravel is a great framework and I like it for new projects, but if I already had a working API on Node, I'd need a really good reason to remake it in Laravel.

free host

@alieldeba Why do you think someone is going to let you use their storage space and resources for free? Servers don‘t run on fresh air.

@martinbean Maybe for making people love their service and then make them pay money once they make their service paid, I have heard that vercel offers free hosting.

Most of the security you implement through going the the steep learning curve and apply applicable authentication and applicable authorization.

And write correct sql to avoid injection. I suggest study under a master programmer for a while and learn. Also some business courses or experience and some bookkeeping always helps in any kind of business programming.

Plus 1 to @martinbean answer, I doubt you will find such free hosting.

I know AWS has a free tier but probably won't work for such a setup.
