Getting "unable to resolve dependency tree" while doing npm install

Install the fresh laravel project and while doing "npm install" got error.

While resolving: undefined@undefined
Found: [email protected]
node_modules/vite
  dev vite@"^5.0" from the root project

Could not resolve dependency:
peer vite@"^6.0.0" from [email protected]
node_modules/laravel-vite-plugin
  dev laravel-vite-plugin@"^1.0" from the root project

Fix the upstream dependency conflict, or retry
this command with --force, or --legacy-peer-deps
to accept an incorrect (and potentially broken) dependency resolution.

npm install is working on 2 months old project but not with the new one which i have installed today.
