Payment integration

Hello, I'm creating an app in which users can book a court and payment can be done in 2 ways: 1.split between friend . 2.whole payment by self. when user click on split he can choose a friend and that friend will get a notification and will have 20 min timer to get the payment done. But the thing is if i done my payment and my friend do not so how will i get my refund ? im using stripe for payment integration? could there be another approach to solve this problem?
