choose between stripe and braintree cashier in runtime?

Reading laravel cashier documentation I've assumed that stripe and braintree were pluggable backends for cashier. but reading the code Ive discovered that cashier-braintree is a reimplementation of the whole cashier but for braintree instead.

Bad, bad Taylor.

So much contracts for small things in laravel and something as huge as this and there is no pluggable backend for cashier?

There is way of choosing in runtime which cashier I want to use?

update: there is no issue tracking turned on cashier and cashier-braintree repositories, where we can talk about it with "the developers" (Taylor, mostly) ?
