Chirper with upload a file? :D

Hey Laravers! How are ya'll? :)

So, I am new to Laravel and I did the Chirper from the official Laravel Bootcamp, Now, I really liked it, but I'd like to TWITCH IT UP! lets say, add an "Uploading a file" icon to write a message, I thoguht i would be easy peasy but for a beginner like me its like SUPER DUPER difficult!

Can you assist?
