Cashier Resume always prorates with Stripe

During my testing, I've noticed that whenever I cancel and resume a subscription, Stripe add two offsetting prorations to the customer's account. Would it be possible to have the Cashier subscription model honor and transmit the proration flag for resume calls? Or is there some aspect of Stripe that makes this unavoidable?
