@highendau Laravel is an open source framework, written in an open source language (PHP). There’s no fee or donation needed to use it (or PHP), which is perhaps one of the reasons for its popularity.

Building a GPS Tracking/Telematics solution
Hi everyone, I am in the process of moving away from White Label GPS tracking products, and looking to build our own solution which our customers can log in and manage their fleets on their desktop and Mobile devices.
I have done a lot of searching and I have seen the Laravel name appear in many search results.
Is there any information regarding this and is there a solid base that can be installed onto a Linux Server to build on?
And what is the price on using Laravel? If Laravel is free, how do I go about making cash donations?
At this stage I have a Bare metal server provided by Contabo which;
- is running Ubuntu 22.04
- has AMD Ryzen 9 7900
- has 32GB ECC which can be increased if needed
- 1TB NVME Storage, which additional drives can be added to separate the OS & application(s) from user data.
- 1 Gbit/s port
Thank you in advance, Michael
