What are the affordable alternatives to NewRelic ?

I'm searching for affordable alternatives to NewRelic or an open source application which I can install in separated server. NewRelic seems to be very expensive for a startup to use. I need to monitor

  • Application Performance
  • Most Time Consuming Transactions
  • Database Monitoring

Yes, the server tier is free, which made sense for them to do since here they are competing with open source tools like Nagios and Zabbix.

If you want more visibility in application and database metrics, the open alternatives are limited. CoScale offers full stack monitoring and is an affordable New Relic alternative, which is more aimed at production monitoring rather than application code monitoring, if that suits your use case.

@Amr-Soliman You should check out https://tideways.io - a Monitoring, Profiling and Error Tracking software for PHP that my company has created. We even support Laravel for more detailed insights. We don't provide the same extreme level of features that our competitors have, but in turn our prices don't feel like shopping for a Ferrari.

Users on IT Central Station interested in New Relic also read reviews for AppDynamics APM, which also has free versions of their tool. This IT Operations Manager writes in a review of AppDynamics, "New Relic as well as CA were also on the shortlist at the time. New Relic couldn't actually give me the breadth of what we wanted, as AppDynamics could." You can read the rest of her review here: https://www.itcentralstation.com/product_reviews/appdynamics-apm-review-41136-by-belynda-poupard/tzd/c296-sbc-61.

I hope this is helpful.

You could try Atatus PHP APM ( https://atatus.com ). We offer in-depth trace, raw queries, easy identification of performance issues, error tracking and alerting for PHP frameworks, including Laravel, Magento, Zend etc. We also offer front-end browser monitoring as a separate product as well.
