Joined laracasts a week ago or so - great website! Coming from lynda.com, which only had 2 laravel series (which were essentially the exact same thing), this is definitely the place to be.
I was having a bit of trouble getting PHPStorm to work. I noticed there was a fairly long series about optimizing your IDE, but nothing about setting up the bare essentials, and creating your first project. So I tried doing the following:
Upon opening PHPStorm, I created a new Composer Project: http://puu.sh/e4sZ5/752d933e00.png

Not sure what to do about this. Any ideas?
Came upon a solution by following the instructions here: http://forumsarchive.laravel.io/viewtopic.php?id=12154
The problem was an issue with a mismatch in permissions between the laravel folder and my Sites folder. For those who might have similar issues in the future: make sure your permissions are set properly. Definitely caused me a headache in the past.
