Hi i have heard in many places that PHP does not worth the effort to learn in 2021 since all tendencies are focused on Javascript including backend. What is your opinion to create a professional career in web development?
Oh, PHP died long time ago.. There was a new version 8 released recently, but those guys were just wasting their time, and on this discussion forum, we are all wasting our time as well.
All of that being said, start with JavaScript in 2021.
You'll hear in many places how absolutely everything is dead and buried.
Learn whatever you desire to learn, my career was in Java many years before I came to PHP. But I can tell you right now PHP, Java ee, (now jakarta ee), and .net core are Fully Alive.
Most large companies use several Technologies not just one or two.
