Learning CSS3 and HTML5

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for recommendations for a good online course for CSS3 and HTML5 for my wife.

Basically she wants to get into the front-end web design business, and I think the best place to start is an online course that walks her through each bit.

i.e. I'm after something like Laracasts - but for CSS+HTML :)

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

go for tuts+. If my memory don't cheat me, there a series called HTML in 30 days by Jeffrey there. And there are also some awesome courses on front-end development technology.

W3Schools.com is where I started. I can recommend it for learning the basics, I still use it to look things up.

Codeacademy.com is also a great place.

teamtreehouse.com is pretty good for that kind of thing, tuts+ has changed a lot for the worse recently, it used to be very good, these days .. ummm not so much

I showed my wife the websites - and she loves the look and feel of teamtreehouse.com - especially with their 'tracks'.

So she will start with that.

Thanks everyone.

A couple of guys here recommended W3Schools. I don't want to sound like a broken record, but stay away from it. Check out W3Fools.
