I think that any front-end code is over-engineered, as well as the whole front-end related technology stack :(

Laravel Dashboard - Over Engineered?
Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like the front-end code for Laravel is over-engineered? A good example is the dashboard—I wanted to change what was displayed in the sidebar, and I had to go full Minecraft on that crap and dig three classes deep just to find it (okay, maybe a slight exaggeration). It feels like Laravel has lost its beautiful KISS principle, which is what we all loved about it. Or am I wrong?

Anything concerning style and such is redundant. In many videos he will delete all of it and start fresh with code he wants. So just look at it as an example, copy it for reference, and delete, then program your own thing.
