It COULD help, but I don't know an employer who relies on this certification to hire someone. In the end, they will probably ask you to pass a simple knowledge test and that's it.

Laravel Certification - Is it worth it?
I just found this exam, is it worth taking, and would it help me finding a job?

I have the same impression. I think that they will more likely be impressed by what the candidate knows and has to show.

I would only take it if the company I'm working for pays for it as it's quite expensive. Or if someone else paid for it :)

300EUR is high, but I think all of the certificates are priced in that range or even higher.

In my opinion, if you spend the time you use for this to build a public repo, which touches all the basic laravel features plus the some advances features like testing, queue and put it in github, that will help you more to get a job.

@randy_johnson I’ve been working with Laravel for seven years or so now. I’ve worked for a few companies in that time. My current role is technical lead for a multibillion dollar pharmaceutical company. Not once in that time have I been asked if I’m Laravel certified.
