i am getting the above error in chrome and opera. but working fine in firefox/IE, i tried turning off firewall, flushdns , updating laragon etc. but still im unable to open my project.dev in Chrome/Opera.
@Muhammad.shahid.shah .dev gTLDs has been bought by Google as one of their 100+ new gTLDs.
Chrome 63 will force all domains ending on .dev (and .foo) to be redirected to HTTPS via
a preloaded HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) header.
Just use .test instead of .dev you will be ok.

i changed the settings of laragon to .test even tried different ones, but as i type project.test or something else in chrome/opera instead of opening the project it uses the google search.i mean browser doesnt detects it as a laragon,s project, but with project.test it still works with firefox
Try going to http://project.test initially. After that it should be fine.
@topvillas thanks it works with that. but still im having some issues with wordpress project. i, e styles/images are not loading properly and if i try http://wordpressprojj.test/wp-admin , the browser still tries to watch for wordpressprojj.dev/wp-admin.
Did you also change the domain in wordpress settings?
