jQuery image upload with database interaction tutorial?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, if not, I'm sorry.

Can anyone upload a tutorial that shows how to use a jquery image upload plugin with Laravel and mysql database to save the results in?

A simple tutorial would be fine, then we'd integrate it in our own apps.

For example giving a user the ability to upload a profile picture.

EDIT: I meant for this to be in the "Requests" section
