Is it worth learning Laravel in now?

So i am starting my web dev journey and i have learnt javascript,html,css & angular but i to work on the backend i was planning to choose Laravel as it's really awesome, it's clear and the docs are nice apart from all that i have worked with PHP before. But now many people are saying that Node.js has taken over the webdev market and there's no place for Laravel(or any PHP related frameworks).

I have also seen django but i don't think django is something i'd want to learn as everyone being born currently is learning django and react.js.

What are your thoughts about Node.js taking over the webs backend ? and is Laravel fading away?
