Installing homestead - not php output!

I have a folder C:\Users\Jethro\code that syncs with my vagrant virtual machine - when I add a sub-file or directory it shows up on the virtual machine as you can see below.

And my local machine of course...

I can see that I am connected to 127.0.0.1 because when I go to my url http://fresh.app:8000/ I get output in my browser although it's not what I want.

And my url http://fresh.app:8000/ should be showing output because my Homestead.yaml file is configured like this...

However there is no PHP output to the browser.

I have spent a solid day on this. What am I missing?
