Indexable accounts by search engines. Why ?

Hi, why did laracasts accounts are indexable by search engines ? It is absolutely nonsense, and agains GDPR rules. Please disable this, or allow users to disable seach engines indexing in account settings, or atleast allow delete or close account.

Why wouldn't it be?

You can make it private if you want to, and I doubt it's against GDPR, which is just for handling personal information, and that they will not sell your information on to others.

The only information on your profile page is what you put there, and in your case it's just your user name, so I don't really see the issue. The only person with access to your information of your account is you and Jeffrey.

@nlaracastsuser The only nonsense here is saying a profile being indexable is against GDPR πŸ˜‚

Are you saying every website that you create a profile on, and indexed by search engines (Twitter 𝕏, Reddit, Stack Overflow, dev.to, et al) is breaking GDPR? Stop being so silly.
