deploying Laravel 8.x app in Production from Vagrant local

I will deploy the Laravel 8.x app in Production from Vagrant local app

Normally the DIRectory to upload [to my VPS LAMP] will be from this same Vagrant testing DIR /code/MyApp??? And should apply conditionals so App work in Production as well as Locally... eg based on $_SERVER global var ?
