Can you integrate python with Laravel?

I have a general question: can you integrate python with Laravel?

For example if someone create a chatbot with python how to integrate it with Laravel?

I heard laravel would not be a good language for AI - Python would.

I don't know a lot about the subject, but it seems you'd have totally separate python code and php code. The php code would call the python code, kind of like you would when querying a 3rd party api (make a call to the script, get the response, display it/manipulate it in php.)
