If you nail the security isolation and automated backups at a better price point than Forge's higher tiers, you'll definitely pull in developers who are tired of getting nickel-and-dimed on per-server limits.
I built my own deployment platform after using Laravel Forge
Hi everyone,
I've been using Laravel Forge for deploying my Laravel applications, and honestly, I really liked the experience. It made server management and deployments much easier.
The only challenge for me was the cost, especially when managing multiple personal projects and client applications as a freelancer. I wanted something with a similar developer experience that was more affordable while still giving me full control over my own VPS.
That motivated me to build Deploverse.
The goal isn't to replace Forge. I simply wanted to create another option for developers, freelancers, and small agencies who want a simple deployment platform without spending too much on infrastructure management.
It's still evolving, and I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from the Laravel community.
I'd love to know:
What deployment platform are you using today? What feature do you wish it had? What would make you consider switching?
If you'd like to check it out, it's available at deploverse com
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
