Forge + Lightsail (custom VPS) no longer working

Hi all,

Over the last month or so Forge fails to install on Lightsail instances. I've tested the exact same process on AWS EC2, Digital Ocean and Linode (all via custom VPS) and they all work.

Lightsail seems to be the exception.

To be specific, it prompts for manual interaction to install mysql, and even after, mysql never fully installs. Basically the server is left in an unknown state.

I've tried reaching out to Forge support but I was told to contact AWS (tbh, a pretty disappointing one line response after I provided an extremely detailed breakdown of the issue).

Has anyone else been experiencing the same?
