Forge LetsEncrypt SSL renewal

The laracasts Forge SSL video mentioned the need to create a job to auto renew the cert created by LetsEncrypt. Do we still need to manually create the job? If so, am I still going to use the same curl cmd mentioned in the video?

How would I customize this if I wanted? I am having certificate issues with a server trying to connect to this one so I need to be able to copy the certificate whenever it is renewed.

Word of warning, if you love Forge as much as we do ;) and spin up dozens of sites with the LetsEncrypt Beta feature, you may run into rate limiting issues. I tracked it down and wrote a blog about it here.

I needed a bit more customization like I'm hearing from @omnia. There are some links and notes that may help for those looking to dive deeper.

I contacted Forge because I was experiencing a similar issue with certificates not renewing.

The reason why it didn't auto-renew was because there was no active subscription.

This is very frustrating because it happened twice to a customer and we didn't know why it was happening.

It's not clear in the pricing or documentation, very disappointed in this "feature" as it wasn't clear when

signing up to Forge.
