Do I need to register with cloud providers such as Digital Ocean on their website before using forge?

I am new to deploying my web applications to the cloud. Based on a little online research, i found out forge is the best way to deploy a laravel app to any of their partner cloud providers. I'm a bit confused though, do I need to separately register on say, Digital Ocean before coming back to deploy on forge or I only need to register once with Forge.
