Changing Forge plans

Hello, I am on a Hobby plan, yearly billing. I would like to add another droplet and for that I must upgrade to a growth plan. I still have 9 months of my subscription left. If I upgrade to the growth plan (199 dollars a year) from the Hobby plan (120 dollars a year), what will happen? Will I only have to pay the rest 79 dollars?
