I am deploying a custom WordPress build on D.Ocean with Envoyer however when I deploy any release to the server it passes all 4 stages but fails to install any composer dependencies. On looking at the Install Composer Dependencies all it say is "Skipping Composer install" turns green and carries on with no issues. can anyone suggest why this is happening as composer is operational on the server and a valid composer.json file is in the root directory of the site.
I have the same issue trying to deploy Symfony application with composer.json file in the root.
In my case the issue was in the existing vendor folder. In this case the composer install won't be called.

So to make it work I've added composer install after "Activate New Release" hook.
